The H4 model Air Purifier uses UV-C ultraviolet rays to destroy and change the DNA structure of micro-organisms, because UV-C ultraviolet rays are easily absorbed by the bacteria, especially around 253.7 nm ultraviolet rays, which can instantly kill bacteria or render them unable to reproduce.

The principle of the H4 UV-C Air Purifier lamp: Quantitative high-purity mercury is added to the vacuum quartz tube to generate ultraviolet rays by providing voltage difference between the two electrodes, Quartz glass has a high transmittance of 80-90% for each band of ultraviolet, this can disinfect, sterilize and purify the air.

UV-C light bulb to be replaced every 6-8 months for optimum results, spare bulbs are available at R100.00 each excluding vat.
